Dr. Aman Upaganlawar, a distinguished Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacology at SNJB’s SSDJ College of Pharmacy in Chandwad, Maharashtra, affiliated with Savitribai Phule, Pune University. With two decades of academic and research experience, Dr. Aman has made significant contributions to the field of pharmacology, publishing over 100 scientific papers and 61 book chapters in prestigious national and international journals. His expertise extends to editing four international books and authoring seven textbooks specifically for pharmacy students.

Dr. Aman’s research interests encompass the screening of bioactive molecules for various disorders, the evaluation of antioxidants, and the complexities of diabetes and its complications. He has successfully guided more than 50 postgraduate scholars and two PhD students, fostering the next generation of researchers.

His exceptional contributions have earned him numerous accolades, including the N. N. Datta Award, the Dr. Saroj Sharma Award, the Best Teacher Award, the National Doctoral Fellowship, and the ICMR Travel Grant, along with recognition as a Fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (FAMS), New Delhi. Dr. Aman is also a life member of various professional societies, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field of pharmacology.
