Dr. Bhowmick is a highly accomplished medical professional with over 15 years of experience in clinical research, pharmacovigilance, and medication management. A gold medalist in Gynecology & Obstetrics from Calcutta University, he holds an MD in Pharmacology from IPGME& R, Kolkata, and has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCP Edin) in 2024—the first Indian doctor to be honored with the Lucian Leape Patient Safety Fellowship by ISQua in 2019.

His expertise spans global institutions, having completed certifications from Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University, and the Royal College of Physicians, UK. Dr. Bhowmick has worked at Stanford University School of Medicine and the World Health Organization, and he is a peer reviewer for the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology. He is also a key contributor to developing clinical trial regulations in India and serves on the Medication Safety Framework panel for the Indian government.

Currently, he is a Professor of Pharmacology at KPC Medical College, Kolkata, and Vice President at KPC Group for Projects and Academic Initiatives. His extensive experience, international recognition, and dedication to healthcare quality and patient safety make him an invaluable asset to our program.
