Dr. Mohit Bhatt, is a trailblazer in the field of neurology and the head of the Movement Disorders Programme at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, India. With over 32 years of extensive experience, Dr. Bhatt has dedicated his career to advancing the understanding and treatment of movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, Wilson’s disease, and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

Dr. Bhatt completed his medical training at the renowned Grant Medical College and Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals in Mumbai, where he laid the foundation for his illustrious career. His thirst for knowledge led him to train at some of the world’s most prestigious institutions specializing in movement disorders, ensuring that he remains at the cutting edge of medical advancements. Prior to his current role at Kokilaben Hospital, Dr. Bhatt served at Breach Candy Hospital and Jaslok Hospital, where he honed his expertise in diagnosing and managing complex neurological conditions.

 

As a pioneering figure in the field, Dr. Bhatt is the Founder Trustee of the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation of India (PDFI) and the Basal Ganglia Club, India (BGC).
